PERSONAL PROJECT

The goal of this ongoing project is to create a series of female half portraits that give a fashionistic and fresh feel. By using negative space for hair and clothing, the focus lies mainly on the women's faces and poses they make.

The more simple, the better, but without losing the beautiful complexity of reality. That is what I'm trying to achieve. Simplicity quickly can get boring and generic so I carefully add a complex 
element to my artwork, wether it's in the linework, the rendering or the composition. The goal is to get a 
realistic feel to my artwork although it is highly stylised.
